Spanish artist, Carlos Aires (b. 1974, Ronda) thinks an alternative truth lurks behind every official story. He questions stereotypes and underlines the ambiguity of images. In the Andalusian port of Cádiz, he retrieved massive pieces of wood from ships used for clandestine migration, to create his work. He fashioned the blocks into a parquet floor, which recalls all the journeys made.
