The terror threat has resulted in evermore demands for control, and still less room for the unexpected. But where do you draw the line between the unexpected and the suspect? How do we deal with the severe reactions invoked by fear and suspicion? And how do we set a course for our undulating society? In A Swarm of two, Aernout Mik (b. 1962, Groningen) shows two ‘policemen’ on a never-ending trek through deserted shopping streets. The dancers, who improvise every scene, give free rein to their turmoil and confusion.
